Summary

Decisions made in the home and workplace are significant determinants of the ecological health of local communities, the Great Lakes Region and the biosphere. When this project is fully implemented, the “Dashboard” links to the right will provide citizens with real-time feedback on water and electricity flows through residences, businesses and through the entire City of Oberlin. The goal is to present this information in a social and environmental context that engages, educates, motivates and empowers community members to conserve resources.
